Over twenty-eight years of experience in planning, design and construction of healthcare facilities has brought HFP a proud record of over 95% repeat clients, and a reputation as one of the top healthcare planning and architectural firms in California.

As an outgrowth of HFP's constant exposure to the planning process in many hospitals, and of the firm's experience in projecting long range master plans for individual hospitals over a number of phases, the firm is frequently asked to provide comprehensive, areawide studies of the need for and feasibility of additional healthcare services. In response to such requests, HFP is prepared to assist in determining current and projected health care needs on a regional basis; review existing services in terms of their ability to meet needs, and make recommendations concerning new or expanded services required.

Long Range Facilities Planning

Medical Professional Office Building Planning

We at HFP feel strongly that even if a health care facility is not contemplating a construction or renovation project in the near future, a comprehensive, long-range master plan should be developed as a guide in accomplishing the facility's objectives, both immediate and long range.
HFP therefore, offers their services directly to the health facility in functional and architectural programming and long range master planning.
Our goals in long range planning are to develop an acceptable scheme for the health facility that will allow it to grow and change as the changing patterns in the delivery of health care demand. The key word in our approach is flexibility, since we firmly believe that if an institution is needed and belongs to the area, it should be capable of remaining on it's site in the form of a viable institution providing the highest quality of care in the most up-to-date facilities. To accomplish this end with little threat of obsolescence and minimum operational costs, the institution must be capable of expansion and rejuvenation with minimum effort.

HFP has developed a service specifically to assist clients in the planning and structuring of buildings housing doctor’s offices and their related support facilities. Our goal, in offering this service, is to aid in the development of medical / professional office buildings that will function with the greatest possible efficiency.
